Your first dive with an instructor, dives for certified divers, the Open Water course or snorkelling with sea scooters.
Tenerife’s water stays between 19 and 24 degrees all year and the volcanic seabed drops away quickly, so a few minutes from the shore there are already arches, wrecks, rays, turtles and shoals of fish. If you have never dived, the try dive is done with an instructor by your side the whole time, from the beach or from a boat. If you are certified, you choose single guided dives or a pack. If you want to get certified, the Open Water course qualifies you to dive down to 18 metres. And if you would rather not carry a tank, snorkelling with sea scooters takes you at full speed just below the surface. We work with dive centres in Los Cristianos and Radazul.
Not for the try dive or snorkelling with sea scooters: everything is explained beforehand and you are always with an instructor. For guided dives you do, and you need to bring your card.
The try dive is a short, simple first dive with the instructor. PADI’s Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is somewhat more complete, with more practice, and lets you go on to the Open Water course afterwards.
It depends on the centre and the activity. Tell us the ages when you send the request and we will confirm which option fits.
Yes, the usual ones: no diving with serious heart or lung problems, with a bad cold or in the 24 hours before a flight. Tell us anything relevant and the centre will check it before the day.
Swimwear, a towel and your certification card if you have one. The wetsuit, mask, fins, tank and weights are included.
